I'm forbidden from uploading to Google Drive

If your uploads to Google Drive fail with an error message "forbidden", it's likely that your domain administrator has blocked third party applications from accessing your Google Drive.

To save your Screencastify videos to Google Drive, please ask your administrator or IT department to enable this feature.

If you are your domain's Google Apps administrator, follow the instructions below to enable Google Drive access. 

Enabling apps to access Google Drive from the Admin Console

  1. Log in to your Google Apps Admin Console
  2. Click Apps
  3. Click G Suite
  4. Click Drive and Docs
  5. Click Features and Applications
  6. Enable Drive SDK
